HealthONE® Names New Chief Executive Officer At North Suburban Medical Center
Jennifer D. Alderfer Promoted from Chief Operating Officer

THORNTON (May, 2010) – HCA-HealthONE LLC North Suburban Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer D. Alderfer as the new chief executive officer (CEO) at North Suburban Medical Center®.  Alderfer succeeds Todd Steward, who is now CEO at Saint David’s South Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas.

North Suburban Medical Center is a 157-bed, medical-surgical hospital that has served North Denver communities for the past 25 years.

Alderfer was promoted from the position of chief operating officer at North Suburban Medical Center.  She had served in that integral leadership role since 2006 and brings more than 10 years of experience in a variety of healthcare management settings within HCA (Hospital Corporation of America), a joint venture partner in HealthONE.

“In addition to having a strong record of success leading hospital operations, Jennifer manages strategic initiatives with the most important objective in mind: providing excellent health care to the people in the communities we serve,” said HealthONE President and CEO Jeff Dorsey. “Her understanding of the hospital and its local markets will help ensure continuity and continued momentum of the facility’s plans for enhanced services and programs.”

Prior positions include chief operating officer of HealthONE’s The Medical Center of Aurora North Campus and Administrative Fellow and Associate Administrator at HCA’s Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.  Alderfer earned her Master of Health Administration (MHA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees at the University of Colorado.  She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
