Baby Safe: Helping Caregivers Keep Little Ones Safe

This class helps prepare parents-to-be, new parents, grandparents, and childcare providers for emergency situations involving infants. We provide the latest information and hands-on instruction.

Safety Topics Covered Include:

• Car seat education
• Difficulty breathing and choking
• Basic infant CPR
• Seizures
• Dehydration
• Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)
• Baby proofing your home
• Selecting and using safety equipment
• Responding to burns, cuts, bruises, head injuries, high fevers and more

North Suburban's Baby Safe class is 3.5 hours and costs $40 per person/couple.
