For New Dads
Boot Camp for New Dads: Expecting Dads Learning from Experienced Dads
This class is exclusively for new dads-to-be (sorry, no moms allowed). Classes are led by certified Boot Camp Instructors, who, along with Veterans (new fathers who bring along their new babies), train Rookies (fathers-to-be) on the realities of fatherhood. Veterans will demonstrate helpful skills, including:
- Burping
- Diaper changing
- Swaddling
Class discussion will also include troubleshooting crying, caring for new mom, forming a new family and becoming a dad.
North Suburban's Boot Camp for New Dads is 3 hours and costs $25 per dad-to-be.
